Continents

Discovering our planet's six continents one country at a time...

As we all know, our planet is made up of six different continents, each one offering its own delights for the tourists that visit them. I have been fortunate enough to have visited five of our six continents, and I hope to one day be able to venture to Oceania. Below you will find a link to each of the six continents, and clicking on any one of them will take you to country profiles for each of the countries that I have either personally visited, as well as those that I intend to visit in the near future.

My Story

Travelling has always been a passion of mine. Growing up, I was lucky enough to be able to go on holiday abroad with my family every summer. Over the years, we visited a number of destinations, with particular highlights being the USA, Thailand and Turkey.

However, it was only really once I went off to study languages at university that travelling became more of a past-time rather than a yearly trip with the family. As part of my university degree, I spent a year studying at a university in Chile as an exchange student, a couple of months at a language institute in Düsseldorf, and then taught at a secondary school in France upon graduating.

More recently, I achieved my goal of visiting every country in Europe (apart from the Ukraine and Russia, both of which I hope to be able to visit one day), and it was the sights that I saw and the amazing people that I met along the way that inspired me to make this blog. I hope that my experiences and the knowledge that I have gained along the way can be of assistance to other travellers, and please do not hesitate to get in touch with any questions or just to say hi!
